Born From Frustration...

After many years of working in the marketing ‘space’. I grew frustrated. 

I oversaw some huge growth, scaling multiple businesses to offer an amazing service to all our clients. But I wasn’t content.

The ‘space’ had some serious flaws. 

Many previously burned clients who came to us after working with PPC agencies who either didn’t have the time or the knowledge (or both) to get the clients their desired results. 

 This sparked something inside me…A hunger for a solution. 

Not just for the clients still licking their wounds after being burned so many times. But, also for the people doing the damage - weird, I know!

Something was missing…

You see, I saw that there was a common trait between all of the accounts that we worked on. 

Not enough data.

And all the tools from the market ‘leaders’ were just running on stale, inaccurate information. 

How could anyone be truly successful in PPC if they’re getting only half the picture? Myself included.

 

6 years in the making…

I had a solution in mind but didn’t know how to find the solution to my solution.

 The idea sat on the backburner, lukewarm…

EUREKA! #1

After 6 years from the initial idea, I realised the solution was staring me in the face the whole time. 

We already had access to all of the data I needed from the many accounts that we were working on.

The good, the bad and the ugly, right there in front of me. 

It was a live database of data which separately, was a bit ‘meh’ but pull that all together, you’ve got some very special.

What if all of these separate databases, in the form of accounts, could help me find the solution that I’d been longing for?

My mind was blown!

Pooling this data gave me some unbelievable account insight that no other tool or resource could ever accomplish.

It was the ‘law of large numbers’ in full effect.

 

For example, we discovered that 243 roofing accounts that spent in excess of £1 million in 2019 had 290,000 clicks on 98,000 search terms.

But here’s the juicy bit…only 8,000 of those search terms had generated an inquiry.  

And I knew exactly which 8,000!

We had that initial proof of concept and to say I was excited would be an understatement.  

After a few months of tinkering, testing and little more tinkering, it was time to put this to the test - on a real account!

Success!

We applied some test data to a health insurance account and conversions increased

22% in the first 3 weeks.

Time to Scale

With a skip in our step, a team of developers was sourced to make this something scalable. 

Failure

After months of hard graft, we had more problems than solutions. The conclusion was that this was very, very hard to scale. Awesome…

 

Good Will Hunting?

The new found problem was the statistics, we needed someone who was a cut above the rest with the numbers. Unfortunately, my O-Level maths wasn’t cutting the mustard…

And, we found the perfect person for the job, a statistician AND someone who knew Google Ads.

The perfect fit. 

The A-team assembled

The dream team took on the challenge, full steam ahead! 

 

After crunching some serious numbers and some equally meaty product development, our little Frankenstein was alive! 

 As with any prototype, it wasn’t pretty, but did it work?

EUREKA! #2

Many months later and after hundreds of account tests, the solution was proven to deliver guaranteed (and statistically backed) results for business owners, just like you!

On average, our now beautiful creation (Adscience Elite) will guarantee a 25% decrease in CPL without a single penny more in ad spend.

 And the more data we get, the more we will improve. That’s our mission.
